I'm in my teens and breakout every so often. I have chest, back, and face acne.. and I was thinking that the clarisonic would help clean it. I want to invest in it but I don't know which one to buy.
Should I buy the Mia or the Mia 2? Does two speeds really matter? Which one is best for both body and face? Is there really a big difference between Mia and Mia 2?

I have Mia one and its fine! Also be very careful using this on someone with acne problems! Use the brush specially made for acne skin!

Another thing they recommend for it to be used day n night.. I would start by using it only at night! Since your skin may be sensitive to the brush! No harsh usage on face only small circular motions! Also it can be used with exfoliant once a week for a deeper cleansing! I used to work for cosmetics and a lot of people really loved this as for me it's good but I've noticed sometimes is a lil too much for my skin! So start out slow! Don't go clarisonic crazy and use it for more than your skin can take!

I have a pro, but I never change the speed. I just don't feel like it makes the hugest difference.. sometimes I'll accidentally change the speed and I'll be like 'whateva' Lol. The only reason I have a pro is because I am an esthetician at a medical spa and we sell them. As staff, clarisonic gives us a package where we get the pros and a bunch of different brush heads all for a bit under $80.00 if I recall correctly.. just so we can use them and promote them. Awesome deal but I'm sure I would have been all good with the basic mia. Plus the mias come in such awesome colors and designs!
