I have combination skin, oliy & dry. I've always had problems with foundation staying on & looking natural. I've tried brushes & sponges but it always looks chalky, ashy & you can see the strokes.. Not to mention, I never have full coverage. It still shows pimples no matter how small & it's so annoying. I want a natural look, I don't want to put on pounds of foundation & look fake. I recently about a product from MAC to put on before foundation to control the oil but it never works.. I need help :(
MY BIRTHDAY IS TOMORROW & I WANT TO LOOK CUTE!

Are you willing to pay a lot for a foundation? the Estee lauder double wear is perfect, but apply it with a brush!

I think mousse foundation would be a good idea because it is really light and you can apply it really easily. Get some samples next time maybe? And keep looking for a good primer that suits your skin.

After using a primer, try dotting the foundation all over your face then using a sponge or beauty blender to gently blot it in and blend onto your skin. This way you'll have an airbrushed look and you can "build" your foundation if you're not getting enough coverage. Lots of YouTube tutorials on applying foundation, check em out! Good luck and happy early birthday!!

I agree with Danielle. I use different foundations all the time because my job allows me to play with different brands but the lancôme is one of my favorites. Just make air you have a skincare regime and use a primer.
