If you use astringent use moisturizer right after. It clears your face off all oils- even the good ones - so the moisturizer locks in moisture.

I use the Neutrogena Rapid Clear line and I'm in love. Switched to it when I couldn't afford Proactive anymore. I use the gentle foaming scrub twice a week, the oil removing cleanser I think it is called the nights I don't use the exfoliating scrub, and the 2 in 1 toner and face lotion every night. I love my Neutrogena!

It lists prices/products (inexpensive by the way), how and when to use them, and why this is happening to your skin and why this helps. Please read it over completely.
