I want to wax my legs at home but I'm a newbie at waxing, any advice or tips before I do some serious damage??

Spread the wax in the direction which is opposite to the hair growth. This will ensure optimum amount of hair pulled out. Small red dots (like tiny pimples) are normal and will go away in like 20 minutes.
