I've been browsing in here and noticed that a lot of people are raving about the "miracle oil" -- Bio Oil. I was contemplating on purchasing one. I have a habit of researching about the ingredients before using a certain product and came up with very alarming results. Most of the ingredients in it are skin irritants. :( I really wanted to use it because of the great reviews but I am afraid that it may leave a long term side effect on me.
So, what do you guys think? Is it worth the risk? Anyone here had negative results with this certain product? Please enlighten me!

I have had bio oil for about 6 months and I love it..it works well on me leaves my skin baby butt smooth lol and believe it or not has been helping me with my breakouts. I apply it once a day right after I get out of the shower...it doesn't work well with raised stretch marks tho..that was the real purpose I got for...but it even out my skin tone and lightened old scars that I had...you have to use it faithfully tho...and A LITTLE GOES A LONGG WAY for my face I use 2 drops and sometimes thats even too much. everyones different. every one has different side affects to different products. I say don't knock it till you try it. I use it daily. good luck!

I have never heard anything bad about bio oil but if you are worried about the ingredients then you should get the same results from massage oils such as grapeseed ( a light oil that is good for most skin types), almond oil ( great for dry skin) and jojoba oil ( very similar to the skins natural oils and you only need a tiny bit)

I've been using bio oil for a year. And honestly my dark acne scars have faded and it gives me smooth skin. Although, my skin would get pimples from it because I have really sensitive skin
