When you're about to shave your underarms in the shower, wash your underarms with really warm water, so you relax the hairs or the stubble before you shave. One of the reasons for dark armpits is because oil, sweat and dirt get stuck under there during the day, and applying too much deodorant is just layering it over and over again. So thoroughly wash your underarms, with now soap. And if you're about to shave, make sure you do it very carefully in the same directions and then switching which direction you shave so the stubble grows all in the same direction again. Apply a lemon, or bleach that you can get from the store that will not harm your skin.

Use an exfoliating wash on your underarms before you shave as Manal M. said its the build up that makes them dark. exfoliating breaks it down.
