Do You Absolutely Have To Use Primer With A Liquid Foundation?

Call me crazy, but any time I use a primer, it makes my makeup look caked on. Generally, I only wear tinted moisturizer or mineral powder, but I just picked up the new Revlon Nearly Naked, for whatever reason, it felt as if it was calling my name. Do you have to use a primer under liquid foundation, or is it just an extra helper for some beauties?

I only use it when I have a small zit or dark circles around my eyes So I say no, you don't have to use it all the time.

Nope, I haven't used primer for the longest time. Whenever I'm out late, I'll use it though.

No I don't use primer it makes my face too shiny. although I haven't tried very many primers.

I've heard that primer is a gimmick and all you really need is to moisturize ahead of time so your foundation has something to stick to.

I only primer to even out my skin tone before I wear my dream matte mouse foundation, I don't use it if I wear liquid coz I worry it'll make my skin to oily =]

Primer actually works for me, I find that if I don't wear it my make up kind of looks like its melting off, where as if I do use primer my make up looks fresh through most of the day only needing powder touch ups.

I've used liquid foundation on and off for years and I found I only need a primer with powder foundations such as Bare Minerals. None needed with liquid.

Depends entirely on your skin. There are no hard & fast rules when it comes to something like that. Some folks need a primer, others don't. If you don't like how it looks, try it without and see how it works out for you.
