Okay so I've been dealing with this for quite a while now. It's on both corners of my mouth and I've had skin like this since probably 10th grade. (Long time lol) the patches are like a completely different texture than my skin and flake so bad!! I've exfoliate, heavily moisturize and even use a green concealer on it. Idk if you can tell but it's like a dark orange red color. It's much worse in person and shows through ALL of my foundation!! Any suggestions? I'm willing to try anything at this point :(

I would go to your dermatologist and see what they can do about it

Also does anyone know what this might be called?

All right I looked this up, it may be due to climate changes, stress and allergic reactions. Do you have small red bumps or papules with it?

No I actually don't. :/

Alright, then I suggest getting enough sleep, drink enough water, moisturizer your lips, use a moisturizer with sunscreen in it. If it doesn't clear up after doing those things go see your dermatologist and see what they say.

I agree with going to see a dermatologist. I know someone who had something that looked very similar and it turned out to be Neurodermitis which I believe can be treated with a cortisone cream prescribed by a dermatologist.

Definitely head to a dermatologist. I have similar on my stomach/back and found out my skin cells don't come off easily there and I got a heavy duty chemical exfoliating cream and a "mask" type cream thing to use before I shower.

It could be a number of things so it's best to get an in person diagnosis :)

Try going to a dermatologist for the best advice.

Go see a dermatologist asap! Exfoliating and messing with it is probably making it worse. My moms friend has something that looks very similar (but worse) and it turned out to be a really bad infection. Now you might be fine, but I highly suggest going to a dermatologist, even your regular dr would be good, but a dermatologist would be a better idea since they specialize for skin.
