I'm going on vacation in 2 weeks and I never get excited anymore... The ready for that is because well I get a heat rash. Still don't know why but I do. I want to enjoy this vacation, I want to tan, I want to lay in the sun and enjoy it. I don't want to be stuck in the hotel rooms anymore. Please someone if you know anything that really does help please tell me! Something that will be able to make me stay in the sun and have a fun vacation. I have read some stuff that could help but I'm not sure. Here's pics what my rash looks like in case. Thank you!!

Coconut oil! I honestly use it all the time on vacation. I went to Cuba last year and I brought a jar of coconut oil with me lol. But it puts a barrier on your skin so nothing rubs. You can also keep it in a fridge if you can to have a cooling sensation. That and any thick moisturizing cream. I have one from La rouche possey (pictured) but anything with shea, cocoa or coconut butter will do as well for soothing. Make sure to rub it in well and wait for it to dry. Trapping moisture on top if the skin is the last thing you want to do. I'd recommend a powder perfume or baby powder if you can stand it, for after the lotion and throughout the day.
If you get heat rash in certain areas, make sure to keep it dry, maybe try a few different fabrics (I know for thigh chafing there's bandalettes. I'm a fan of them) but I'm sure you could figure out other ones as well and find the best fabric for your skin. Definitely take off and dry off your bathing suit or anything wet/sweaty asap. When I was in Cuba I always kept an extra pair of shorts, a tank and an extra bathing suit in my bag for if I got too sweaty or when we went somewhere right after swimming or anything wet. I hope this helps. I know how awful it is, I usually get it on my thighs and under boob and it sucks lol.
