I have tried everything on my face but I still get small dry patches that my makeup sticks too, I've tried using primer to make an even base, clogs it more.. I cleanse my face daily using dermalogica and I moisturise daily, I've even tried a period with no foundation but nothing has changed.. Someone help me!!🙈

Maybe try not wearing face makeup for about a week or so, and keep moisturizing. I've even heard that your doctor can prescribe you with a face wash for your specific skin type. Hope it helps!! 💕

Have you tried the Clinique lotion? They have a few formulas for different skin types. If you ever shop there, then you can probably get a small one. They are usually in with the bonuses n

Cathii have you tried applying Vit E oil after your moisturizer? It certainly helps me in the winter here in the UK when my skin gets dry because of the central heating/cold winds.

Also rosehip oil mixed in with your moisturizer help with keeping your skin moisturized. Nivea is a great moisturizer for dry skin as well I use either of these when I'm having dry skin.

I second using the oil. I use the rosehip oil before my moisturizer. Do you exfoliate?

Hi Cathii. What you have to do is first to get rid of the flaking by using AHA. You can order one by Paula's choice, or a cheaper one by Alpha Hydrox. Depending on the strength, you have to see how often you can use it. Also, your skin needs to get used to it so start by applying it every couple of days or so. Once you have it on, on clean skin, wait 30 minutes before applying another product.
Second, you will need to prevent the flakes to come back. For that, I suggest a serum with hyaluronic acid like Lancome Genifique or Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. There are cheaper options, but I haven't tried them. Maybe someone else can recommend. Use morning and evening under moisturizer.
Also, what cleanser do you use? I highly suggest changing to an oil or balm, or at least a sulfate free non foaming cleanser. Chances are your cleanser is too harsh and drying you out.
Let me know if that worked.

I used to have extremely dry skin & First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair serum completely transformed my skin. I absolutely LOVE it :) Kheils Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Mask is also amazing & I only have to use it twice a week & my skin stays hydrated. These are also good for sensitive skin.

I have a very dry and atopic skin and I use the body shop Vitamin E for moisturizer, a face wash from sebamed, exfoliate my skin once a week, use a sleeping mask from Laneige and take a vitamin e,a and c 1 cap/day and those make my skin better 😊

Try Chanel products. They have different types but for you maybe the cleanser and moisturizer.
