I have oily, acne scarred skin with large pores and I have used every foundation known to man and nothing works.

I am looking for full coverage that doesn't separate or look cakey.
I have used Estée Lauder Double Wear, Kat Von D Tattoo Lock It, Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24, Hourglass Mattifying powder foundation, the list goes on and on. Everything sinks into my pores, separates on my skin, or gets patchy in areas. And it's not enough coverage. I've used countless pore refining primers and I feel like I'm out of options.

What should I do?

It seems like you've used a good amount of good foundations, foundation might not be the problem it might be you're skin routine. You should try products that unclog you're pores so the foundation won't just lay over them. Honestly it all starts off with good skin care for foundations :)

I use a microdermabrasion once a week and tea tree face wash/toner/moisturizer daily. Could that be too harsh for my skin?

Honestly it doesn't matter on the brand of makeup it really depends on how your skin reacts cause if you skin reacts bad to a 80$ foundation your just waisting money! I don't have acne scares but maybe the problems is your Putin on too much just put a dime size amount on the back of your hand and that should be good for your whole face! I promise if you use a lot you going to make you skin look so Cakey and that's clearly want you don't want! I hope that helped:)
