Hi! I'm new to this app so sorry if I'm doing something wrong!
Anyway, I don't have "perfect" pimple free skin. I never had! So, when it comes to concealer, I have no clue on how to use it and what to do! Can you give me some help on what to do, bc I'm at a loss here😂 thanks x

This is just my way of doing it, I think all artists have similar techniques but do vary at times.
I recommend doing any color correction you may need first, (for example: green pigment on redness or rosacea, orange/peach concealer on noticeable blue under eye areas, or yellow on purple under eye areas).
Then go ahead and use your foundation. Using foundation first can show you what there is left that actually needs concealer. Why use more product than you need to, right?
If you want to brighten your under eye area after foundation, try a salmon color like Mac Prep and Prime in Radiant Rose. Peach equals instant brightness, I never use yellow. Then if you have some pimples, you can spot cover those, however be careful if they are raised up because you don't want to create texture on your skin. Sometimes with pimples you just have to put medicine on them and let them go away. (I'm a total hypocrite because I absolutely pop mine and then put green pigment over them at the beginning of my application)
Hope this helps!

Oh, and when concealing blemishes, be sure to use the same shade as your foundation/skin tone so you don't end up actually highlighting them. I sometimes will use a shade darker.

I've had my share of pimples! I don't know if you want to conceal whole areas or specific spots, but I like a thin concealer pencil for specific spots. In my experience - and we all have different skin types and shades - I prefer a slightly lighter color on my spots. I don't color-correct, as it I like to use as little product as possible so it doesn't look cakey. A lighter shade lightens the particular spot, removing some of the red or brown. Be sure to blend (q-tips are good). When I've used a skin tone or slightly darker pencil, it still looks like a spot. Kathryn is far more educated in this field than I am, I just wanted to give you another possibility.
