For weeks I have had a horrible crack on the corner of my mouth. I've applied Chapstick like crazy but it doesn't seem to help. Someone please help!

Drink water. 8 cups a day will keep you nice and hydrated. If you're well hydrated you shouldn't have really dry lips. For now I'd but the Chapstick down. Maybe switch to coconut oil, or use the Chapstick less often. You don't want to over apply it, that will only cause your lips to become more dry later.

I agree with the Pawpaw ointment. It's the best lip balm I've ever tried, and I've tried a LOT of lip balms. Also Shae-Lynn is right, don't apply lip balm of any kind too often. It affects the skins ability to produce natural oils that help to keep your lips hydrated and healthy. My best advice is invest in a really good lip balm (best to choose one with lots of natural ingredients and not too much perfume) and not too apply it too often, only when it's really necessary. I hope your lips get better soon :)

I highly recommend using Vaseline, coconut oil, Carmex, or a lip hydration mask. Don't apply 24/7 but maybe once or twice every hour. Try not to eat anything too hot and drink tons of water.

Consistent use of a petroleum-based skin protectant like Aquaphor Healing Ointment.
Your lips do not natural contain oil glands. Some people are more prone to dry lips than others due to sun damage, genetics, etc. impairing your natural acid mantle and moisture barrier. Lip balm with SPF during the day (again, I use one by Aquaphor with SPF 30) will also help.
If you truly have an issue with dry lips, you must be consistent with your use of balm/moisturizer. Your lips are like the rest of your skin- you will not change how they inherently are just by switching up how you use your products.

Vaseline works great for my lips.

Leuca is right, also Chapstick brand is actually bad for you lips and contains ingredients that only provide relief that is temporary so that you will continue to buy it. Vaseline and aquaphor are really all you need, but if you want I did enjoy the paw paw ointment and my favorite thing ever is the uriage moisturizing lipstick (no color just a balm)

I'm the kind of person who applied balm many many times a day and it's the only way to keep them going. Vaseline is also good to apply before you go into the shower because the steamy environment combined with the protectant will help a lot of moisture find its way into your lips.

Oh I forgot about the rosebud salve, that stuff is great! Better for on the go because it's not as thick as Vaseline. Try getting the tube version because my tin kind of grosses me out since I dip my finger in all the time.
