Hey sorry this is gross. So I am the kind of person to pick at their skin of ANY kind of imperfection shows up. So I have this huge scab on my cheek. How should I go about healing it before the weekend's over? I just want to be able to cover it nicely with makeup because it's really taking a toll on my self esteem! Thanks in advance!!❤️

I would use neosporin. it'll help keep it clean, help with scaring. I'm 31 and have permanent marks from picking.

Thanks Kim! I use neosporin a lot actually. Band-aid or no band-aid?

No band aid, let it get some air.

If you have a fresh scab it's not going to heal before the weekend is up. Make sure you are diligent with your skincare in the meantime. SPF is crucial to wound healing because sun damage impairs your skin's ability to repair itself, and it will minimize hyperpigmentation after the scab comes off.

Thanks Leuca :) It's not new so I guess there's hope! I've stayed away from the sun all day and it's healing up nicely
