I am pregnant again after a miscarriage in April. My skin care regimen hasn't changed, but I'm breaking out in Deep under the skin zits. Is there anything I can do to help combat this? any products I can try? will it normalize after my first trimester?

I'm sorry about your miscarriage. Anything with Salicylic Acid or Benzoyl Peroxide will do the trick. I'm using Aveeno Clear Complexion and it works well. Good luck and so sorry

So sorry for your loss- congrats on your pregnancy. I have a rainbow baby ❤️ I am sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. My skin prefers salicylic acid spot treatments. I also like to use tea tree oil on breakouts- very small amounts applied with a q-tip.

I'm sorry about your miscarriage Kim. I've always been told that pregnant women shouldn't use salicylic acid. I'd check with your doctor beforehand and maybe try tea tree oil if that is a more appropriate option. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy!

Higher concentrations of salicylic acid can cause complications during pregnancy. It's best to check with your doctor before starting a regimen. Retinol products carry different effects as well.

Yes check with your doctor before using any medication. It might be just your hormones. You could try tree tea oil diluted in water. Congrats on your pregnancy.
