So naturally flushed red face all the time (not rosacea-just red)..are there face regimens that help with this? I have dry/combo skin.

Is your skin sensitive?

I like the nuetragena Redness reducing fave wash. it's really gentle and actually helps.

I get surface redness- I don't have rosacea, just a tendency to get pink. I really like the Fresh Rose line. The mask, the deep hydration cream. I like Pixi Rose oil blend as a night treatment. First Aid Beauty has nice products as well. I can't live without It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness. A tiny bit corrects any surface redness.
Also, be careful of using too harsh of a cleanser. I was using Philosophy and it made me even pinker. Never wash your face with hot water. It makes the blood rush to your skin and dilates capillaries. Use tepid lukewarm water. I like oil cleansing- Boscia has good ones. It removes my makeup without me scrubbing my face, another thing that worsens redness.

Surface redness that isn't necessarily just natural pink in your skin could still be a sign of irritation.

Look for products labeled "fragrance free" (unscented is not a regulated advertising term and is unreliable), and try to keep your sun protection to only mineral actives such as zinc oxide/titanium dioxide. It may also be worth looking into a 1-2% concentration of salicylic acid, as it has skin calming properties when properly formulated.

Rose water takes redness out of your skin, you can get moisturises with it in at lush.

I switched to cetaphil face wash again thinking it'd be nicer on my face, but I think I get a little irritated from it. Thanks for all the suggestions, I've been playing more with rose water/products and even though I'm not fond of the smell I enjoy the results.
