Blood in my pimple-is it normal?

I know you aren't supposed to pop pimples, but I did decide to pop a pimple. Blood came out of it, enough that I had to use a napkin to keep cleaning the blood away from the area. I have no idea if that is normal. Is it normal for your red pimples to be full of blood? And if it is, how do I prevent them from coming up?

Yes. Thats normal. First its usually puss then blood.

Okay. That's good. It looked like blood to me since it was red. I thought puss was only white or yellowish.

It is but if you didn't see anything before the blood it was probably mixed in with it. Gross but true:)

Nothing is wrong! It pretty much happens to me every time I try popping a raised pimple.
