I've never had an issue with large pores before, I've had airbrushed skin my whole life. Recently, the pores on my nose and around it decided to make an appearance and show off how huge they are! It's almost like they want everyone to know that they are deep enough to harbor a tiny African tribe. I can't stand that my makeup doesn't go on smoothly and am terrified of the increased acne risk. Does anyone have a solution? I'm looking for something to help with makeup application but there is no way to tell if the products really work without experience. I'm also in need of some type of skin care solution whether it be moisturizer or a face mask.

I saw a video on YouTube how to hide big pores and it was really good! She used too faced products I think. Can't remember the names but I'll see if I can find the video

Pores are usually attributed from over production of sebum (facial oil). So, although there is no miracle product out there that will get rid of your problem, you can help minimize the look of big pores with ongoing mainteinance. A salicylic cleanser will help clear your your pores, a tone will help remove any residual dirt, oil and makeup after cleansing. A light light light moisterizer for balanced hydration. An exfoliator & deep cleansing mask once or twice a week. And a sunscreen to protect your skin from environmental aggressors which can break down your skin's elasticity over time and stretch out pores. There are also additional products you can add later depending on your age, like a vitamin c serum and retinols.

I agree with Marlene on the salicylic acid - it's a BHA that will deep clean your pores that gives them a smaller appearance but pores are always open - they never close - they are porous hence the name "pores" if they seem enlarged it's because they are dirty and need to be cleaned - a BHA or AHA exfoliant will help clear them up and then if you want to cover them you can fill them with a silicone based primer like the benefit porefessional under your foundation to also minimize the appearance.
