I have been getting small painful breakouts on my chin and cheeks. I always use Clinique. This has only been happening the last few weeks. I usually have clear skin. Any help would be great.

Those are probably hormonal - and any treatment may or may not work since the root of the problem lies within your body - your best bet is to see a derm - but in the mean time I find that tea tree oil works best for those big red painful cystic bumps - it reduces redness and swelling as it was originally used to treat mosquito bites - I use the tea tree spot treatment by the body shop - for a Clinique spot treatment I like the acne spot gel in the small blue tube - it's got salicylic acid in it and works well for the bumps to get them to a head quicker - another good one is the buffering lotion by Mario badescu - also great for getting rid of under the surface bumps or bringing them to a head quicker - then for getting rid of the white heads you can exfoliate with a BHA or AHA or use a sulfur mask just on that area to quickly dry them out - hope that helps!
