Ice and salt? I've never heard of that! Try using a face wash that's moisturizing and unscented and don't apply anything medicated to your face for a few days.

Never, ever ever put ice and salt on your skin, hun- It can leave you with serious burns!
Use some Mederma on the scars, and they'll lighten up, and go away.

Thanks Mallory , I'll try . How many days to you think it'll go away?
Jan 5, 2013
Mallory C.
I'm not sure, but you'll see them lightening up pretty quickly because the scars are new. You can put the Merderma on up to 4 or 5 times a day to work quicker.

Ice and salt form a chemical reaction and burn. It's an old trick. I've heard of toothpaste. But also applying warm compresses help pimples go away and reduce inflammation

Applying toothpaste will make the burns heal? Thanks .

Ugh! I didn't know ....

No! I won't make them heal. I meant to get rid of pimples, the toothpaste thing. However right now you need to heal your burns. Do what the other girls suggested. They have good tips and don't use anything with a scent or that can irritate your face. And don't do the ice and salt! Whoever mentioned JUST ICE is correct, it reduces inflammation.

It looks like your going to have to just let it heal naturally, for now, all I can suggest is face creams, it need lots of moisture tlc,and a scarring treatment, like Bio-oil,I would seek professional help really. :)
