Hi everyone. So I spent all day in the sun 2 days ago and now ny skin is super dry and flakey. I wore 35 spf moisturizer and moisutize regularly but the dry patches are still there. Any quick fixes?

Use an after sun lotion and some aloe Vera.

Exfoliating is probably your best bet. No amount of moisturizer will be able to get rid of skin that's already dead.

I would soak in the bathtub for a bit, like for 30 minutes, then scrub your skin in circular motions with a washcloth. Don't scrub too hard though. You only want the dead skin to come off. Then afterwards, use a bath oil, or body butter to moisterize
& lay down the residual flaking skin.

Sounds like you got sunburnt, you should proberbly get a higher spf. And I would not exfoliate or scrub at all on burnt skin, don't irritate it more. Soaking in the bath and then use a good aftersun lotion with aloe vera and just let it be till it heals.

Agree with Sabrina. It definitely sounds like sunburn. From my experience adding any kind of lotion or moisturizer would not help at all and can sometimes make it look worse. Scrubbing and exfoliate would just hurt. Use aloe vera. It just needs to be left to heal. And make sure, whatever you do, use water that's more cold than warm. If you use hot water it will make the burn worse. Using just cold water though will speed up the healing.
