Hey guys! So I'm in a bit of a dilemma because I want to make my eyes stand out more but I don't really like eyeshadow on myself on the actual lid, I know this limits my options but would do you guys recommend? I have brown eyes.

I sometimes will skip shadow and just use a very dark brown matte eyeliner and smudge it a bit on my upper lashline. I will also use the same liner to line my upper waterline. Then I'll use a copper shadow liner to line my bottom waterline to give my brown eyes some pop without closing up the eye with a dark liner.

Yes to matte shadows - just check out some of the mini-palettes at your local drug store to try out some different color combos -- Wet & Wild and NYX have a lot of different ones that are very reasonably priced.

I wouldnt do eyeliner on your bottom lash line. Just use mascara, and your eyes will be more open. If you want you can smudge a dark brown under your lash line.

Try using a lighter color liner (like a nude) in your lower waterline. It will make your eyes look bigger and brighter!
