Liquid Lipstick Decisions!

Hi everyone! Just wondering if any of you ladies have ABH's liquid lipsticks and what are your thoughts on them? I'm looking at purchasing the shade stripped but they still don't have it in stores in Canada and I can't tell if it's too light for me even after looking at swatches. Do any of you ladies have it? Please let me know your thoughts, thank you!

Hi Rachela, unfortunately I haven't tried any of the ABH liquid lipsticks, but hopefully some of the girls on here that has will see this and help you out :) I just Googled the shade Stripped and its very lovely, but I understand your concern, it does look a little light on the swatches!
Have you considered another shade? Maybe another brand?

Hi Rachela! I have 2 of the ABH liquid lipsticks, spicy and pure Hollywood, and I really like them! They've become some of my favorite liquid lipsticks now, I even like them more than my Kat Von D. They don't dry my lips out like the KVD ones seem to and they also last longer for me.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen or swatched that shade so I don't know about that one!

I have a few! I really enjoy the deeper shades like Potion and Sad Girl, they're great. They last fairly well, and they're not overly drying as long as your lips are in good shape to begin with; don't bother with them if your lips aren't well moisturized and flake free in the first place. I've seen the lighter shades like Milkshake and Naked, I find them to be really, really pale, almost concealer-like on people who aren't already snowflake princesses =) even on someone as pale as NikkieTutorials, the pale shades are really light. I'm not sure of your skin tone, or your lipstick preferences, but fortunately if you get it and it isn't a flattering color on you, you can return it =)

Where in Canada are you? I've seen them in Alberta in sephora but only in 1/3 stores in my city.

I tried one from a friend and I didn't like the feel, it felt very drying and kinda crusty on my lips, like it was a mask that might peel up, it was a light shade that was super liquidy rather than thick so it was super weird feeling but the shades were nice and it was long lasting. I don't love them more than my kvd or Joe fresh ones though so I won't be buying unless a shade I love comes out.

Thank you so much Sabrina.K! Yes I have many liquid lipsticks ranging from Dose of Colors to Kat Von D to Stila haha! I'm addicted. I just heard such good things about Anastasia and was curious about that shade but thank you nonetheless love!

Haha I actually love exofliating my lips especially with Jeffree Stars lip scrub they are unreal! Highly recommend if you're into liquid lipsticks too☺ I'm a medium skin tone and with summer I get dark very easily and would hate to have to concealer look going on-personally its just not flattering on me. I'm thinking of something with a light beige or brown undertone...maybe even Dolce K even though I'm jot Kylies biggest fan lol. But thank you so much for your input Hannah. W do greatly appreciated!

Hi Alyx. T!! Ahh thank you for letting me know! I'm from Toronto and none of the Sephoras have it in store. I much prefer swatching it in stores before purchasing. Still unsure of stripped but I'm probably wait and see it when it arrives in stores..hopefully it won't be that much longer!

You should really check out Stephanie Nicole's YouTube channel if you want some really detailed and informed liquid lipstick reviews. She has TONS and has her own rating/ranking system. All of her reviews include an 8 hour wear test. I can't recommend her enough to anyone and everyone.
