I work in food service and our lights are very bright and wash me out. My normal sparkly eye makeup makes me look blank and bored. Any ideas for dark eye makeup?

I'd just be careful with going too dark. Sometimes less is more.
If you want your eyes to pop, maybe try matte shadows on the lid with a bold winged liner and a shimmering highlight in the inner corner? Add a nude liner on the water line for something extra.

I agree...in the food industry, especially, less is more in my opinion. sometimes ill add a medium brown to my crease to give a bit of depth and an inner corner highlight - always an inner corner highlight.
