I got a lot of scars in my Face because I scratch my Face whenever I get stressed (and I do that quiet easily). I don't really know what to do to help my skin get Nice again. I drink more water than I'm used to, and try to keep my hands off my Face, but it's not like my skin gets that much better. Please please please help, do you guys have something that works for you or Any ideas.? 😔

If you wear makeup take it off and then wash your face as soon as you get home. Always make sure your hands are clean. Also your face wash may actually be making your skin worse because it may not be suited for your skin

You can effectively lighten and often even completely fade out scars using simple Glycolic Acid. It's an AHA that exfoliates the skin, leaving it radiant and even in tone.
For home use, I personally never exceed 12% and counter any dryness with facial oils, CeraVe Cream , an aloe-based toner and of course, my CeraVe AM as sunscreen is a must-use for me. Any broad-spectrum, moisturizing sunscreen is fine.
Sunscreen not only protects your skin from the sensitivity of peels, but it prevents scars from darkening.

I used to purchase a Glycolic product from my derm, but am now using the AlphaHydrox brand souffle, which is 12% and has a pH that is perfect for exfolating effectively. (I love Olay's Pro-X Nightly Micropeel as well)

My Walgreens sells it and so does Drugstore.com and it's about $15.00. (The Olay is more money) I prefer to alternate my exfoliating products, but the Alpha Hydrox is an excellent and inexpensive way to test the AHA waters.
The company does not test on animals and the product is fragrance free.
This, in my view, as with the Olay Pro-X Triple Acid Nightly Peel, are of outstanding quality and the ingredient list was nearly identical to the one I was purchasing through my Derm.

I agree with Sarah that Vitamin C is also another great product to fade scars and even skin tone and you can easily alternate a C product with the AHA; you don't want to use them on the same day, however. Alternate your usage and acclimate your skin to one product first before introducing a secondary one to avoid irritation.

When shopping for a C product, look for Ascorbic Acid as the active ingredient and shoot for 10% and up. Again, if you have sensitive skin, with both products, you need to ease into usage.
I'd begin with the AHA every 3rd day.

My current favorite C product is Paula's Choice. It's an impressive 15% and contains cell communicative ingredients that brighten and are anti-aging.

If you experience dryness with initial AHA use, Philosphy Purity is another nice hydrating wash; I remove my eye makeup first with Organic, Cold Pressed Coconut Oil. CeraVe, Aveeno and Cetaphil wash are also fantastic and can be purchased at most drugstores. Hydrating primers are also part of my must-have skincare as I run severely dry. Once your skin becomes acclimated to Glycolic Acid, you will see smoother, brighter skin that is insanely soft. It minimizes fine lines, fades hyperpigmentation and increases cell turnover. When you include an AHA with Vitamin C you help build collagen and so this is not only will produce results that you can see, but will help you out down the line. It's crucial that you use as directed. I feather it in around my broader orbital area with a Q-tip, avoiding my lids, my tear duct, my lips and my nostrils. This is very important.

I'd try and redirect my stress, which I realize is incredibly difficult. Breathing exercises on youtube, yoga, even stretching or stopping to take a breath when you feel stressed makes a difference. If you are anxious, reducing caffeine intake certainly helps...this includes with teas, both cold and hot. If you are home, you might want to try light, cotton spa gloves to cut back on your ability to scratch. Bonus..you can use them with lotion for incredibly soft hands. ;)
