Hey babes!
I am wondering if any of you tried to use skin lightening creams for your red acne marks and if it helped?
Any brand you'd recommend?

I don't know if they have that, but go to your doctor they may give you a medicine for it. Also green cancels out red :)

But green only cover the redness and not reduce :/

The only way I can see is to go to your doctor or dermatologist and see what they can do. What I was saying was when wearing makeup use a green concealer before putting on your foundation to cover up the redness

Yeah that is right :) I mostly do it. I have rosacea so I am also very internestet how to reduce redness :)

Yes, green is my best friend :) it's just that I am looking for a permanent solution... I am looking for a good dermatologist now to see if they can recommend something, but first I need to go to my GP and they will refer to me to a dermatologist.

I have tried honey mask each night, but no difference yet. I know it takes time to heal, but I just cannot leave my house without makeup now and this is sad :(

Well I use rosiced. It's for rosacea but it reduces redness and pimples.. So maybe this can help?
But I am also looking for a permanent solution :)

It's been like this for a couple of weeks, no difference whatever I try..

So is that the Rosiced cream? I will look into it now, thank you.

Your skin looks less red than mine :) so maybe you have a treatment that helps. I also do not leave my house without make up :/ it's very sad. Have you tried a healing earth mask?
Feb 29, 2016
Alina E.
The rosiced creme helps against redness and pimples but if it will reduce them forever.. Well I don't know.

The problem is that once I manage to somewhat heal them, I got another set of pimples around my period, so I guess it's hormonal :( I have tried a couple of thing over the counter or prescribed to me, it works at first than it will get back to this stage...

Usually I got them on my jawline and chin...

Did you visit a dermatologist yourself Alina?:)
Feb 29, 2016
Alina E.
Maybe you should ask your Gynecologist because of the pimples around your period. Maybe that helps because she/he can help you with your hormonal problem.
I tried tablets called isotretinin (hope name is right :D ) it kills your pimples but there are a lot of side effects.

That is cool, I will ask him about it, thanks for the tip! The soup is called Dudu Osum and it should be available on eBay or Amazon

I have read now that aloe vera gel 100% is really good in reducing the redness, have you ever tried?
Feb 29, 2016
Alina E.
Okay I will look that up :)
Well.. No :D oil or anything oily is bad for my skin. I think aloe vera is oily? Or am I wrong
Feb 29, 2016
Bettyna C.
No, it's actually a gel format, try testing it by only applying on one spot and see how is you skin reacting.
