Hey guys. So my skin is really clear after I stopped washing my face (I know weird). But no matter what I do, my nose has weird blackheads and white heads all over and is really dry. It's the only pair of my face that ever breaks out and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions because I've tried face masks, exfoliaters, and even the pore cleansing strips! Please help me and btw my skin type is normal except my nose gets oily.

Have you tried a salicylic cleanser & lotion? Salicylic acid helps keep your pore clear. But, like everything, don't over do it. If you dry out your skin, you'll trap the oil in your pores.

You need to always wash your face, if you don't the dirt and sweat with clog your pores up and you will break out

Sarah- When I wash my face, it gets worse... Once I stopped washing that area, my nose area comparatively cleared up but it's still not completely clear.
Marleen- Hmm thank you but I've tried face wash and exfoliaters with salicylic acid before but they made it worse. I guess I'll have to try them again. Do you have any recommendations?

I didn't get any results with BHA exfoliators until I tried Paula's choice BHA 2% liquid. Just a heads up, this one worked for me in a week than what I used to use before (epionce sport lytic tx, used it for almost a year but all it did was keep me matte and no new acne but nothing to the clogged pores I already have) I recommend the Paula's choice this was recommended to me by kitty and Deborah here at beautylish <3.

Neutrogena has some good ones. But also retinols are good too. But you have to be careful with those if you've never used them before.

I'd cut apple cider vinegar with water and use a cottonball to dab it on morning and evening.
Using one part organic, unfiltered apple cider and 3 parts water, fill a plastic bottle with either a spritzer, spray nozzle or (as I prefer) a squeeze, pop top as you find on many bottles of toner.

This will naturally kill surface bacteria and really keep pores clean. It is a simple remedy for spot treatments on the nose or anywhere you struggle with blackheads or tiny white bumps.
