I'm in desperate need of a good face wash to get rid of some of my acne. It's just getting worse and worse and it is really starting to depress me. It goes up my cheeks and on my chin, and it's just a terrible painful mess. I have oily skin with dry patches (dry skin forms around pimples). If any of you know of anything that could help, please let me know! Very much appreciated!

Okay first aid beauty face wash made a world of difference for me! Also Oxy 10 has 10% benzoyl peroxide to help fight it but you'll want a good moisturizer with that one

The best thing for my skin is cetaphil, but that might not work for you. Your best bet would be trying different things until you find what works for you.
Also remember to drink a ton of water

What works for me is Say Yes To Tomatoes but their face washes for anything are very hit or miss. Ashley is right. All skin is different and you kind of just have to see what works best for you

I have the exact same problem! I use spectro gel to wash my face. I also have been prescribed aczone and stevia a cream.

I personally use CeraVe and a Clarisonic brush. After washing my face, I use the Burts Bees blemish stick on any breakouts I may have. I let that dry, and apply the CeraVe moisturizer to my face. My skin has really cleared up. Also try to remember to remove ALL of your makeup and don't wear it when it isn't necessary. If you're like me, and tend to get oily throughout the day, buy some blotting sheets to control the oil. Hope this helps!

I use the proactive and I'm prescribed aczone.

Do not use proactive! It is absolutely horrible for your skin and does nothing good for it.
