Should I Get Highlights.

I wanted something other than just brown hair for the summer so I was thinking about highlights. I just don't know what color or how 'light' the highlights should be. I added a picture of myself, my hair is a really tiny bit lighter now because it has faded a little.

Do balayage! It looks so much nicer than normal highlights.

Highlights and bayalage can be lovely but before you do either consider the management of them. For me they completely dried out my hair and nothing helped with that, brushing your hair with them is horrific and if you don't keep them done or use silver shampoo blonde always turns brassy. I'm not trying to put you off but just have a good think about them :)

Thanks stephanie that's one of the reasons why I asked this question. I will talk to my hairdresser about the condition of my hair
