These black heads on my nose are getting extremely annoying. I'm in the process of making my skin healthier after years of not caring and it's changing, for sure, but these dang black heads won't go away for crud! Nose strips didn't work, I've tried them numerous times. No charcoal products are working. I can't pop them either, I've tried that multiple times as well.. any suggestions?

Bioré black head strips! They work super well. They make them for your chin and nose. You basically just peel off the plastic and wet your nose and then stick it on there. It dries like paper mâché and you slowly peel it off and all the gunk comes off with it!

I've tried them and they didn't work. I've tried them at least over 5 times and haven't had any luck with them. It's driving me crazy.

Really? Hm..did you peel them off slowly towards the middle of your nose?

I have the exam same blackhead problem! I've been doing a LOT to get rid of them and slowly but surely they're clearing up.
I use the Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask, the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask, and a Freeman's Peel Off Mask interchangeably every week (one week use the charcoal mask, next week use the mint julep mask, etc.) They all do the same thing to pull everything to the surface more and the peel off mask, in my opinion, really pulls all the gunk out of my pores.
I also have a blackhead extractor that I got from Avon and use that sometimes to get the really annoying blackheads out that just won't budge. It's kind of awkward but it really helps!

Oh, I forgot! I've also been using a blackhead scrub and that's been helping as well (:

Girl I know how you feel. You should take a really hot shower to open up your pores and then right after use a face mask. It really gets all of the gunk out of your pores! For masks you should use the ones Alexis recommended!!

Boscia black mask!! its heaven I have the same issue I use an exfoliating 2% Salicyclic acid pad along with a dual enzyme face polish and follow that with bascia black mask it's a peel off and I can see all those nasty things come right out and my nose feels so much smoother and getting a lot clearer I'm as well getting into getting healthier skin after years of not caring

They're probably not sebaceous filaments, not black heads. They're normal and supposed to be there. Kinda like large pores you can't get rid of them but can help their appearance by a regular skin care routine and Salicyclic acid :)

I'm not sure if this product is only professional, I can check but there may be another product similar. when I do extractions I use Dermalogicas scaling fluid. sometimes I'd have to use desincrustation (electricity) but with the scaling fluid they usually pop right out with a little pressure. if you usually experience this it may be a good product to have for future black heads

I think you can get the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask at Ulta and I believe Walmart as well but I'm not really sure.

Yeah I take that back its only pro, I was hoping they sold it retail as well because it truly is amazing at getting everything out. it has quillaja saponaria in it which is a naturally foaming extract and it softens pores and removes any excess oils. hopefully the other girls suggestions will help you!

I agree, charcoal products are good, they're just not getting the crap out of my nose. I had a few black heads on my forehead, between my brows and they were gone within one use of charcoal mask, I don't remember what brand it was, but the directions were to use it in the shower. & great, thanks Dyanna! I'm definitely going to Wal-Mart soon and I have a trip planned to sallys in about a week, so I oughta find it somewhere! Lol. Sucks not having my own vehicle.

You need a good exfoliant or go to a spa and get a peel. That will really help.

The strips should've helped, what I do to make them REALLY work is steam my face for a good five to ten minutes (as long as you can take it) before applying the strips because steaming forces your pores wide open. After steaming don't even dry your nose off just put the strip on immediately.

Sounds good, thanks loves!

You could even steam your face in the shower or bathroom just run really hot water when you get out cause even after showering your pores are all open so running hot water will help keep it steamy in there

Lol yes, foggy mirrors, I know what you mean, that's probably what I'll do. Then use a mask or strip right after.
