I use a makeup remover face wash but it doesn't remove all of it. What do you use? I'd love to hear your answers :)

First I use a baby wipe to remove as much as I can. Then I use cetaphil and my cleansing brush for a deep cleaning.

Cleanser would be the best to get off makeup, if you can get into the routine cleanse, tone & moisturise ☺️ half the time I use baby wipes as it's quicker! ☺️

I use Ponds Makeup Removing wipes. Then I cleanse my face with Simple Skincare Gel Cleanser and then I use their Toner.

I use a wipe to get eye makeup off, then I use a lotion cleanser, let it sit, soak into my skin for a few minutes and remove it with a soft muslin cloth or baby wash cloth. I found when I just splashed water over my cleanser it wasn't really getting all the foundation off.

I usually just just my liquid to foam cleanser with my konjac sponge to get my stubborn makeup off. But using an oil based product to remove stubborn make up is the easiest way to go! Just make sure to cleanse well to wash off the excess oil:)

I agree with Kim --- cleanse, tone, and moisturize. I use Oil of Olay Sensitive Skin cleanser (it's a real deal and good for all skin types, not just sensitive), a Paula's Choice toner, a Paula's Choice face serum, and the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Night Repair cream with Retinol.

I have some Almay Oil Free Make Up Remover liquid that I use occasionally if there's something stubborn that won't come off after I wash. That's pretty rare, though.

Winnie which konjac do you use? I've been intrigued by the look of them for a while.

I use Clinique take the day off cleansing balm then cleanse again with cerave hydrating cleanser then use toner and moisturiser. I've stopped using make up wipes a long time ago as most of them are have high levels of alcohol which is terrible for skin.

I use this genetic one from tj maxx, which was like 4 dollars? I was going to get the Boscia one but I read that all the sponges are made out of the same cellulose of the konjac plant, so I would be overpaying for a high end version. I've been using it for like 3 weeks and I love it! :)

My routine is similar to to Shannie. I love love love the pre cleanse by dermalogica. it's for all skin types and is oil based, oil attracts oil so it's great for the oily skinned ladies as all. this removes every trace of makeup. I used to use wipes until I realized how much was left behind. after that I cleanse. the reason it's important to remove your makeup first is if you don't your cleanser that's for oil control, hydration, aging, etc.is going to sit on top of your makeup, facial oils, dirt and debris instead of sinking into your skin and being beneficial. that's exactly what dermalogica created the precleanse.

So no I wouldn't suggest using cleanser to remove makeup, cleanser should be used on a bare face in my opinion.

I use a micellar solution (like bio derma) on a cotton pad first to get the makeup off and then I wash my face with a face wash.

I use a baby wipe to get most of it off if I'm not getting in the shower. Then I cleanse, rinse, tone, and moisturize :) in the shower I just wash with my cleanser :)

Me personally, I use a makeup wipe to remove the bulk of my makeup, and then I use my vitamin e hot cloth cleanser to cleanse fully.

I spent ages at drugstore side of Ulta and Target yesterday looking for an oil based makeup remover. They are all the chemical ones, even the supposedly botanical ones just have a few botanics thrown in to sell product. I'm going to order Drag Eraser from Atomic Cosmetics.
Winnie I found a Konjac sponge at Target yesterday (ecotools). I used it last night. It's crazy, it's like washing your face with a giant rice crispie or communion wafer, but it works incredibly well. My face was as soft as a baby's behind this a.m. Thanks for the tip!!
