Hi ladies. I've been breaking out on my chin area so much and was just wondering if toothpaste really helps reduce redness at all?

I would not suggest it, because it can be irritating. Try with an ice-cube :)

I agree with Lara, just use an ice cube. I have actual scarring from stupidly trying toothpaste once so definitely keep it away from your face.

Use benzoyl peroxide instead.

Sometimes to reduce redness instead of just using an ice cube I boil water and steep a green tea bag in it and then freeze the green tea as I've cubes! Just make sure it's all natural green tea bags like no added sugar or anything

Tea tree oil helps with redness and swelling (it was originally used for mosquito bites) but now has found good use for pimples too - otherwise I hear visine works well to reduce redness too.
