I have really dark hair how do I get it read without bleaching.

Depending on how vibrant you want the color you may have to bleach it. If you want a really dark red/a tiny of red to your hair then you don't have to bleach it but if you want a more vibrant red then you'd have to.

Loreal hicolor hi-lights worked great on my hair. I went from a really dark brown to a pretty bright red.

Agree with Brianna. I got fire truck engine red with Loreal HiColor permanent highlight, without bleaching. I used 30 Developer.

I had really black hair and I decided to go red. The product that worked best was loreal hicolor permanent highlight and it looked amazing.
