You would have to lighten your ends, dip dyeing isn't going to get that finish. I would suggest going to a salon and lightening your ends

You would have to bleach your ends, which is damaging. It's not really dip dye, it's more of an ombre, if you've never done anything yourself, then you'd be best to go to a salon which can range anywhere from $50-$200 depending on location. Maybe try something like splat hair coloring from Wal-Mart and do dip dye that way? It'd be easier and a lot less expensive.

Hey. Sorry, I didn't realise the difference between Ombré and Dip dyeing, to me your your dipping you hair with dye :,). I live in England also.. We don't have Walmart. But thanks anyway. Over here we have kits, with brushes. So I will manage... Thanks though 😁

Ummmmmm any drugstore. Not just Wal-Mart. It's literally everywhere. Dip dying and ombre are two totally different things. You could also buy an ombre kit at any drugstore and just brush the dye at the bottom starting wherever you want the ombre to start. Look on YouTube!

I would NOT recommend dip dye or ombré. I had really nice long hair and the process of bleaching and coloring absolutely killed it. I lost almost eight inches of hair due to having to cut off the damage and I regret it sooooo much. Maybe get clip-ins to avoid the damage and still have that ombré look.

Everyone's hair is different Meggin. You can't flat out tell someone not to do something with their hair if they want to do it lmao. Of course it's going to damage your hair but as long as you know how to care for your hair properly, you'll be fine.

I'm in England too Jess:)
My friend has used the L'Oreal ombre kits with the brush from Superdrug, hers turned out really well. It didn't fry her hair either, and she had really dark brown hair. But I still think you should go to a salon as it can make your hair go extremely brassy and ginger. Where I live, ombre is about 30 pounds
