Erica can you suggest how to go about lightening my hair? Last time I just let my hair grow out and the color fade... Lord knows I don't have that kind of patience this time around lol.

Love the natural color. A good salon should be able to easily bring you back up to that level without doing a noticeable amount of damage. You could also use color-stripping shampoos (dish soap actually works great) to pull out as much of the dark dye as possible, and use lots of conditioning products and moisturizing masks both before and after lightening to keep hair as healthy as possible.
