Coconut oil for the hair...help?

I was wondering if this coconut oil worked well in the hair. I have been using it for a little while but I was just wondering if it isnt working aswell as I though. It does make my hair soft and shiny.

I hate that coconut oil! I like the organic one so much better. &I had to throw it away after I saw black stuff growing at the bottom I think it was fungus

@zeleste I think you just werent storing it right actually. I read the bottle and it needs to stored at such and such. But still thats gross.
