I finally ran out of my usual foundation and I'm looking for something more wallet friendly. My face quickly turns into an oil field even with primer. I am hoping to get some opinions on a few products.
Maybelline- fit me matte and poreless
Dream matte mousse
Rimmel- Lasting finish 25 hour
Another question would a powder or liquid work better for oily skin? I've had issues and success with both ( varies from day to day).

Hi Jen, Dream matte mousse does the job stays matte all day but because it's a mousse you apply a little amount.:)

I liked the primed and poreless for its coverage and truly smooth finish. But it did not combat my mildly oily skin. I do not rely on matte powders after the application so maybe if you used the foundation with a powder it would work beautifully!

IMO I would rather have a nice mattifying setting powder and a less expensive foundation. Tarte Amazonian Translucent setting powder works

I tried rimmel lasting finish it has a serum in it I found it thick and sticky not for oily skin not for me but I saw a 'nude' version of it out now that may be lighter but I haven't tried it

I was really disappointed in l'oreal pro matte. I actually returned it. It made my pores look gigantic and it made my extremely oily skin look cakey which is hard to do! It was especially bad under fluorescent lights at work.
