Have you tried a gel liner?
I use the Loreal gel liner and those are great for being precise (:
I actually use the nyc liquid liner first then apply the gel liner

I agree with Les on the gel liner thing. I use the Maybelline one and it's very precise and easy to use. I'm absolutely awful with liquid liner, gel is surprisingly so much easier
