Do you exfoliate along with using your clarasonic? And how often do you use it. I use mine at least once a day, but more often then not I use it twice. I just have the original Mia, I use the sensitive head and I've had it for about 8-9 months, and I honestly feel like it hasn't done anything for my skin.. 😔 do you think I should get the normal or a different head? Think that could make a difference?

I think that using a physical exfoliant, meaning with the beads, would be a good idea. 2x a week. Also, I prefer the deep pore brush over the sensitive. I felt that it was softer and cleaned my skin much better

I don't exfoliate, because thats what I feel like the brush is for, so I no longer need to exfoliate. You need to be replacing the brushes about every 3 months (I usually go about 4). It definitely took me a while to figure out which brush I needed, but once I got tried them all, I finally picked the delicate. I only use mine at night and I remove my makeup before using. I recommend you try a different brush and cleanser since you aren't seeing a difference. I've had mine for almost 3 years now, and I have noticed a world of a difference in my skin. Out of the 3 years I've had it, I have only not used it one time on accident and my skin looked horrible!! If you want you can use an exfoliator, I would only do this once a week and see if it makes a difference.

Maybe experiment with different brush head.

No, exfoliating as well as using the clarisonic would be too much as the clarisonic brush exfoliates. My favourite brush is the delicate one, it's amazing!

I only exfoliate my face on days that I don't feel like using the clarisonic. But I use mine about 5 nights a week.
Maybe you should try changing the head cause I've only had mine like a month & notice improvement in my skin. What cleanser are you using?

Thanks girls, I'm using cetephil and I change my brush every 3 months on the dot, I use the biore black mask (not really sure of the name) once a week and I use light Josie marran on my face everynight but I feel like my face is still flakey, I feel like my face is just dull, my skin isn't soft, and it doesn't hold my foundation nice. I have noticed less acne, but I never had much, so I feel like my skin was better before I spent $200 on clarasonic stuff 😌 (the brush and heads)

I would definitely get a different cleanser. And I know for myself, I only use a mask about once or twice a month. Sometimes using too much on your skin will just make it worse. Cetaphil and that Biore mask are both extremely drying, so thats probably why you are having the dullness. CeraVe is a great cleanser...

Another thing, I mentioned earlier that using too much can be worse, thats why I only use my Clarisonic once a day at night. Because otherwise your stripping away your skin (which is probably making it seem dull). I use my Clarisonic at night after removing makeup, then in the morning I just wash my face with soap and water, no Clarisonic. I use an acne cleanser at night to help prevent any blemishes (I'm using Philosophy, but Murad and Boscia are good too), and in the morning I just use CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. I also recommend you try CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion mixed with Josie Maran. I understand being irritated with spending so much money on everything, because I was the same way, but once I figured out what brush, cleansers and moisturizers I needed, now I hardly spend any money just when I run out of my cleansers or brushes...
