I have oily/combo skin (more oily). I currently use Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. I love the texture and how smooth it is. My makeup does last longer but I find I still get very oily after 4-5 hours. I was recommended the MUFE Mattifying primer and I really didn't like it. It was too mattifying for me, I found it was so hard to spread on my skin because it was so thick and when I applied my foundation it started to ball up on my skin and it looked flakey and patchy. I did like how it kept me less oily but my foundation didn't sit well with it. I want a primer similar to hourglass but I want it to control my oil better. Plus I have extremely sensitive skin. What do you recommend I could try at Sephora?

Hi Shauna! Have you tried using an oil-control setting spray? You might want to check out something like the Urban Decay De-Slick setting spray. 🙂

Hey, I also have oily/combo skin..mostly an oily t-zone & dry everything else 😕 Anyways, exfoliating & moisturizing really do help with how makeup will set. But my favorite primers so far have been Dr.Brandt's pore no more & Benefits Porefessional. (Smash box, hourglass & MUFE's primers did very little for me.)
& as to Kenzie's comment, I actually love Urban Decay De-Slick, I don't use it as much anymore since I don't need it as much. But it was a lifesaver when a was an oily mess. One quick spray on your face & your makeup looked refreshed. Good luck! 😊👍🏼
