I still have mine but they have faded tremendously thanks to a vitamin c serum paired with a BHA exfoliant - you can check out pix on my profile of my progress - after the first 2 weeks they faded dramatically and after 2 months they were barely noticeable - I stopped using it cause I couldn't afford the serum anymore but my scars are still much better than they there were before the serum - also you have to use SPF religiously otherwise all your hard work at fading them will be for nothing - I still use an ester-C cream once in a while to help fade them more slowly but if you are looking for a quick inexpensive fix then the serum is the way to go - I used products by Paula's choice - but you can buy other brands - but I definitely recommend her 2% BHA exfoliant - I still use it to this day and it's amazing

I'm treating some now due to a recent breakout. For daytime I use Philosophy Hope is Not Enough which is an antioxidant serum mixed with their vitamin c Turbo powder (for the life I me I can't remember the full name of that dang powder). Mix and apply to my face then follow up with Josie Maran Argan Moisturizing SPF47. The sunscreen is a must because for nighttime I use...I rotate between my 10% glycolic/aha serum or ReVive Moisturizing Renewal Cream. Both act as exfoliatants for the skin which will help fade the scars. And at least twice a week I will use M-61 Skincare Power Peel Glow and apply their Hydraboost Cream afterwards. I've been down this road several times and when I stay on top of it I can a huge improvement within 6 weeks. And complete eradication within 12 weeks...dependent on how deep the scarring goes (that's why its super important to not pick one's skin as it causes further trauma to the skin).
Tied in all together...all the above products I mentioned work together as a team and if the sunscreen is left out the goal is completely defeated because it keeps the scars from further darkening. The same program can be used to address hyperpigmentation as well which is common for WOC (like our chin or forehead regions may be darker than the rest of our face).

After cleansing and toning, I use Ole Henriksen's Vitamin C serum. Then I moisturize with Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF. This my my day routine. At night after cleansing and moisturizing, I use Philosophy's Miracle Worker Dark Spot Corrector and then KORRESS Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial. I'm not sure exactly how long it takes to go away, but when I first started this regimen I noticed them diminishing within 3 weeks. I drink about a gallon of water each day. Also I use Mask of Magnaminty about twice a week. It's a clay mask from Lush for oily skin, acne scars and hyperpigmentation. Hope this helps you!
