The best place to buy hair extensions is Ali express! I wear sew in extensions and I use Ali express Brazilian hair. Me and my mom love it. It usually cost around 80-300 (depending on length) I usually get 22' , 24', 26', inch hair and it last me for 6 months at the most ( I flat iron my hair nearly everyday for school) me and my mom paid 160.00 for 6 total bundles (which is pretty cheap) but if you do buy clip ins or decide to get a sew in , make sure you get the right amount of hair for your entire head!
Sew in: 3-4 bundles depending on the length you decide to get it or how thick you want it
Clip ins: 2-3 bundles also depending on the length. Also another place to buy good hair is http://www.besthairbuy.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=best%20buyhair_e&utm_content=bestbuyhair&utm_campaign=s-us-brand-m&gclid=CJPqkfvh4cYCFQxqfgodFpsOOg. I hope I helped! ❤️

I'd say clip ins for a temporary set of extensions and I'd recomment Bombay hair or Luxury for Princess they're both reallllyyyy good. If you want more permanent then you could also get Tape In's from Zala which is semi-perm, which is a good option in my opinion since you want them to be a little longer.

Zala's hair extensions are also really good like the other two I mentioned. I'd look into Youtube videos it's all I look at it when trying to figure out what I want for extensions (:

Sew ins, from what I understand, and please correct me if I'm nisunformed, is not a viable, "long-term" option on all types of hair. I know for certain it is not for my fine, straight, Caucasian hair. *sad trombone* If it did, that would be an amazing.. Sign me up! ;)
I think you have 4 options left
Clip ins..fun and versitile, but taking them in and out can be a hassle for some and it is not uncommon to experience some patches on the scalp where the hair has constantly had the clips rubbing and tugging. They have keratin extensions which are gorgeous, pricey and are not detectable..aren't going to break strands and from a daily styling perspective, are low maintenance. Downside is that bump where it is fused...it grows away from the scalp and with length becomes more and more visible. I don't believe they can be reused when the Keratin bond has disolved. They also do not last as long as option #3..nano ring/bead extentions. Gorgeous, but can irritate some scalps. They look amazing and if well cared for can last 1 to 2 years (depending on what you do to them), but as the bead grows away from the scalp, it must be pushed up every six weeks. The beads are tiny, but in some styles (updo) they show..although certain colors are not as easily detected. The bead keeps oil from transferring frim the scalp so curls last forever and little washing is required with dry shampoo. You need to take maintenance into account for these and as with any extension, get remy, virgin hair. Hella pricey..looks fabulous. Tape ins are your 4th option. This gives volume and length for less money than beads, but the wefts, when moved up every (aprox. 4-6 weeks) can also irritate the scalp. Sometimes, this is a placement issue on the stylists part and while easy to put in...not as easy to get out when it comes time to move them. Some feel they are hot..especially in summer. Upside is that they provide more style options without showing. Again, this depends on a great stylist. So maintenance is a big factor for lots of peeps.

Rozberry you're correct! Not all hair types can support a sew in, and also has a lot to do with the clients hair such as someone with thick hair could sustain it more "longterm" than someone with thin hair. Though sew ins are long term the persons hair has an incredible factor into as whether they're longterm or practical. Also it depends on the stylist and who's applying them. Braids shouldnt be too tight, and no ones scalp should be so uncomfortable that they're in excruciating pain or have headaches. (:

I got 18 inch extensions but my hair is a little past my breasts, I actually would suggest getting 18 inch tape in's. Because they are going to be longer & you can always have them cut to the length you would like. I got extensions just for more volume mainly. Obviously get a professional to put them in for you. Or have someone help you if you'd like to do it yourself. These last about 6-8 weeks I was told, but if you are wanting temporary extensions I would recommend clip ins. My hair extensions are from Remy btw. & I got them at my local Sally's beauty supply. So I didn't have to order them & they were around $80 I will link a picture of my extensions below. (I wasn't going for an exact match for my hair color just incase you were wondering) lol

Note: my reference to remy was the definition of hair that has remained entirely in tact from the cuticle to the ends with a single directional strand. Sorry I left that out. This avoids the tangles and matting of hair that is non remy. I'd never, ever buy non remy pieces. Most salons have a ring where they will match what is best for you and then tone them (since you are a blonde).

Remy is the best

I agree completely. Sadly, some companies claim they are Remy (and virgin hair to boot) but hair is given an acid bath...leaving it smooth and looking anazing, even to the trained eye, yet a few washes later and bam! A tangled, matted..expensive ripoff. Brutal.
