I know that it really only takes time and patience to grow your hair but school holidays have just started and I'm out for 6 weeks. The only hairstyle I really want to wear looks shitty on me because my hair is too short. Is there anything I could do to help it grow to its full potential?

-use sulphate free shampoos
-use a hair mask at least once a week
-don't brush hair when wet
-use as little heat as possible
-use a heat protectant when you do use heat
-make sure your buns/ponytails aren't too tight
-drink plenty of water and keep yourself healthy as well

I've also begun trimming my hair I guess once a month.

Trimming is necessary especially for the people that don't grow hair so quit or still use heat on their hair the tips are very important. Rachael it took me forever to even get my hair down past my shoulders but I kept trimming & used less heat on it. I suggest to not even mess with your hair for the 6 weeks, keep it clean cut & nice. You'll see a difference :)

I feel ya! My hair grows super slow too. My aunt is a professional hair dresser and so she knows a lot about hair. She told me to limit use of heat (even hairdryers) to only a few days a week, braid it A LOT, and put water and conditioner in a spray bottle, spray it all over your hair, massage your scalp, and then braid it after that. Hope I helped!

Have you tried researching hair vitamins? I have to ask my bestie which ones she uses but they really work. They are expensive too, like about $70 USD, but since you're saving on hair products and desperately want to grow your hair it might help. In the meantime I'll go try to find the vitamins I'm talking about.
