Manuka honey helps to lighten blemishes and defeat any acne even cystic. I had four huge ones on my cheek and the Manuka honey helped it flatten in a matter of two or three days. I used it every morning afternoon and night as a spot treatment then continued to remove the blemish.

I had the same and vitamin c serum paired with a BHA exfoliant reduced the darkness tremendously - I noticed a difference after 2 weeks but if you use it every day twice a day then that should help speed up the process - also make sure to wear SPF every day to prevent them from getting darker - on another note you can also try to cover them up with makeup in the mean time - I suggest you color correct first (if they look purple use a peach corrector if they are more red use a green corrector) and then use a full coverage concealer over the corrector and they will practically disappear - my favorite concealers are the MUFE full cover, KVD, and dermablend - hope that helps and good luck!

I agree completely with Diana! I use NARS concealer though. Also make sure you use a toner after cleansing and exfoliate twice a week using a mask or similar.

My dark spots have never come back but I get new ones from new blemishes. I'm using Peter Thomas Roth BHA/AHA Acne Clearing gel right now. For Vitamin C I'm using Ole Henriksen's during the day and KORRES Wild Rose + Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Facial at night. It's working but it takes a while. Hope this helps you.
