Good Toner Or Astringent?? Or Actually Any Set??

Hello ladies:). I'm looking for a toner that will help me with my skin. I have combo skin&& occasional hormonal pimples. I also have blackheads and congested spots. now at first I was just looking for a toner but if you have a certain brand or system with moisturizer and the whole shabang I'm willing to try. TYIA :)

Thanks Julie for responding:), I actually have that very toner in my bathroom right now, didn't work as much for me. I used so many of his products. his products actually cleared my face before but after a couple months use I notice they werent helping anymore.

I've also tried the pink and blue toner from Lancome didn't help either. the pore refining one from neutrogena neither -_-.&&a couple other ones.

I use the clean and clear hydrating cleanser (blue bottle with beaded things) for washing, clinique cleansing lotion (is a purple liquid), and the clean and clear hydrating lotion for moisturizer. I'm looking for an overnight and under eye cream still,  though.

I really love the one from Clean and Clear, and it does come in a kit but you can buy it seperately! The kit comes with a face cleanser, the astringent, and a moisturizer that I really like.

I used that seaweed toner as well as the Mario badescu cucumber and the special cucumber toners - I love all his products so I can't say anything bad about them but other toners that work well for my sensitive acne prone skin is a witch hazel based toner that's alcohol free by thayers and also the alba botanica willow bark based astringent - it's a bit stronger than most toners I use now but when I was first suffering with my acne that whole line (alba botanica acnedote) cleared it up really quick - I used the toner, lotion and spot treatment with the cleanser and used the scrub once a week - it helped my skin so much

I love LUSH's toners. I've tried three so far. The tea tree toner helped when I had really bad breakout. Breath of Fresh Air was great to hydrate my face when it was going through a very dry phase. And the Eau Roma Water has to be the best. It calms, hydrates and tones my face. I'm on my second bottle.

I don't really use an entire system from one brand. My cleanser is Philosophy. Then of course toner. I use Josie Maran Nirvana Mist. Then my day moisturizer is Josie Maran Argan Daily with SPF and my night is KORRES Wild Rose + Vitamin C Sleeping Facial...but I'm trying one by Aveeno for night moisturizer currently. I have oily, acne prone skin. During the colder months (not many in Florida) it's more combo. For my cystic acne breakouts I use Peter Thomas Roth Acne Clearing Gel and Mask of Magnaminty clay mask by Lush!

I recommend The Body Shop seaweed line for combo skin :) I use the toner, facial wash and moisturizer and used all 3 give great results. The toner is alcohol free, the face wash really fresh and the moisturizer makes your skin matte through all day while hydrating ;)

I second Tamara on Lush toners! I absolutely love the Tea Tree Toner Water. I have pretty severe acne and this helps so much!

I adore Thayer's Lavender Toner. It's moisturizing and the witch hazel and lavender helps disinfect without drying out skin. You could probably forego the moisturizer however it is not recommended. I love the scent as well. you can get an enormous bottle for about ten bucks. Can't recommend it enough.
