I'm 20 years old, but I look like I'm 12 or 14, even with a full face of makeup. Does anyone have tips on how to change my appearance so people don't automatically assume I'm 14? In the summer I like wearing dresses (probably not the best idea) and in winter I wear a lot of oversized sweaters with leggings and boots. I also wear a lot of makeup!

You can do a really strong contour or really smoky and smoldering eyes to make your face look older. But you'll be grateful one day! Just rock it!

Winged eyeliner, contour, and false lashes! Lol I never wore much makeup when I was a teenager and people thought I was 14 when I was 18. Now at 29 years old I don't mind looking young lol.

Looking young is great.. sadly everyone thinks I am older than I am so I try to do the most natural make up I can...

try contouring, smokey eye, winged eyeliner, fake lashes, do your brows n your lips :)

I'm 17 and everyone thinks I'm about 14/15...meh.
When I'm going for a night out (like for a meal or to a pub/bar, etc) I contour, highlight and use blusher, do winged eyeliner with a more dramatic and bigger wing, heavier mascara and lipstick. Lipstick (I find) is generally more mature and 'older' than lipgloss. I also wear tinted moisturiser (as I don't wear foundation), do my brows heavier than I would normally, conceal (again, more than I would normally). I can pass as 18/19 with this.

Definitely contour, use deeper shades of lipsticks, keep a fairly matte but smooth appearance (dewy skin tends to look more youthful)

I have the same problem! And I'm 20 too and people think I looked younger until I changed my hair and clothes (not juniors) and put on a full face of makeup.
