I want to get some cute shoes for the fall time and where I live it can get quite cold. What shoes would you suggest?

How about some cute lace-up boots in a sable color? :) Or, if you're not looking for boots, how about Mary Janes? You can always wear cozy socks or tights with them, and if you get ones with a little bit of heel to them, they look both cute and age appropriate!

I love Creepers, but Mary Janes are indeed adorable and great in Fall. I wouldn't rule out flats that aren't thin or ankle boot styles also. Brogues and Mules...also fashionable and perfect for colder weather.
I love TUK shoes for Fall. They have so many styles and fun goodies for Fall feet.

Dr Martens! I cannot recommend DMs enough, I have 3 pairs (and 2 more in my Amazon basket!) and I love them so much. They are well worth the money (and cheaper than UGGS which cannot withstand any sort of precipitation without getting soggy) and last forever, I've had my first pair since I was 12 and I'm now 17. Had no problems with them at all, some say they've had blisters in the breaking-in process but I've never had that problem. They do them in shoe styles as well as boots, my favourites are the 1460 (8 hole) boots, Polley shoes, Geraldo and Gryphon sandals and Adrian loafers. I wear my black matte 1460s and Polleys with EVERYTHING
