Hey ladies! I went in for an interview and got my first job on the spot today! I am going to be a assistant teacher at a preschool academy. There is no uniform however the dresscode is business casual. We aren't allowed to wear jeans! Any everyday outfit ideas on what I can wear there! I'm 17 btw.

Aw congratulations! I work in a day nursery (kids aged 6 months to 5 years) and I'm currently training to be an EYE (Early Years Educator), so very similar jobs! Something like this will be good :)

TJMAXX has some lovely ones which are very flattering, or type in slim tapered smart black trousers into Google and see which shops have them :) many shops do :)

Thanks girls! I'll check those places out! My supervisor reccommended JCrew Pixie pants I looked them up but they're $90! Does anyone know similar stretchy pants for cheaper?

Old Navy has pixie pants that aren't as expensive. I'm an elementary education major and that's what I wear to field work! They're really comfortable and stretchy.

Congrats on getting the job!! If you want to watch your budget, then definitely get some basic, solid slacks and skirts - then you can just switch out some nice blouses! You can get black slacks pretty much anywhere - even Walmart and Target should have them since it's pretty much a staple for every woman's wardrobe. Just be sure to stay away from anything that's too tight or too revealing - while stylish, cute, and fierce, those types of outfits just aren't work appropriate for the most part. Wear things that you feel good in and that represent who you are as a person. Good luck with the new job! :-)
