Okay ladies! It's that time for me to start thinking about college! I am currently a junior in high school, and my first choice college emailed me saying they are interested! There are 2 events I'm attending. One is when like counsellors from the college comes down to around my town (the college is in New Orleans and I'm a few towns over) and talk to potential students of the college, and in November there is a campus tour. The event in my area is in about 2 weeks. What should I wear? Please help ladies! You all know how first impressions are! Any suggestions are appreciated in advance :)

Lol I'm 24 I'll be 25 in December, I just registered at my local community college today. I went to a university for 3 semesters out of college I failed... I was undeclared bc I didn't have a reason to be there. I went to beauty school and then did hair for several years. Now I'm going back for office management. I'm excited to go back! I'm sure you're excited to start! Seriously don't worry about how you look I doubt you need to do much to look great!

When I visited a university for the first time I wore my favorite dress and something to cover my shoulders. The key is to wear something that looks put together and makes you feel confident.

I just graduated high school so I know what the college process was like! I would wear just a cute comfortable skirt and a nice top. If you don't like skirts go with jeans or nice shorts with a nice top. Honestly you don't have to look over the top or too made up, just a nice casual yet put together outfit. Nothing too formal! Hope everything goes well, good luck

I agree with the ladies above - something stylish and more on the conservative side (not too short, not too much cleavage). You want to look put together and let your confidence and personality come through. My daughter just graduated college and when she went to a career fair, her Dean told her that a few of the employers on hand told him she was the only student who was dressed appropriately. You'd be surprised how many kids just roll out of bed (or at least LOOK like they did!) or show up in short shorts or sweats. Look like you put some effort into your look - take some pics of your possible outfits and decide which one represents who you are with one glance. Good luck!
