I've been using proactiv, & my skin is totally clear, but I can't afford it now. & I don't want those awful under the skin bumps back! So which line of products are effective and maybe have ingredients the same as proactiv? Oh & inexpensive:)

Cetaphil is a great cleanser, the oily to normal one. Also I'd suggest getting a good toner. Thayer's alcohol free lavender and witch hazel one is great. Then get a nice oil free moisturizer and you basically have what proactive is. Cleanser, toner, moisturizer.

There's a product at the drugstore called acnefree and its supposed to be identical to proactive. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I really like it. It's only 20$.

My beautiful daughter to your left in my profile pic suffers from horrible acne breakouts. We have been advised for her to take Accutane, but she has said NO. So, on the recommendation of a friend she has been using Anti Blemish Facial Wash by Belli. So far so good. Her face is looking a heck of a lot better. So give that a try and see if it works for you.
